METAL GEAR SOLID DELTA Δ: A beautiful remake… but poorly optimized for PC
Konami sent me a copy of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater for PC, and in this video, I'll tell you the truth about its performance, optimization, and graphics quality. Despite being a 1:1 remake of the PS2 classic, this title demands much more hardware than it should, presenting inconsistent performance even on high-end machines.
In this review, I show you tests with various GPUs—GTX 1060, RTX 3060, and RTX 5060—to understand why such a closed game can perform worse than other modern titles in Unreal Engine 5.
If you're a fan of the series, prepare for a visual gem... but also for optimization that leaves much to be desired.
