Metal Slug 4 (Arcade) CO-OP Playthrough / For the fourth time, the game is still a joy to play.
Metal Slug 4 (2002) by Mega Enterprise, Noise Factory and Playmore is the fourth installment of the legendary run-and-gun series, which is rather familiar to any self-respecting gamer. Has much changed this time? Well, no . Does the game still bring fun and joy ? Surprisingly yes, although this is a rather unusual phenomenon for a game that has remained virtually unchanged for more than half a decade.
Graphically it's practically the same game as before, only this time it's not as epic and spectacular as the third installment of the series. Music and sound effects are still on the same level as in the previous ones.
The most visible changes are the addition of a few weapons, such as two machine guns and new vehicles.
In previous games we fought an evil army, aliens , and this time we have to deal with a mad scientist and his inventions.
I honestly don't know what else to write here, because it's the same formula as always, so if the previous three games gave you pleasure, you can reach for this part without a second thought, because it still gives a lot of fun.
The only thing that distinguishes it from the previous part is that this time the game seems to be fairer and better balanced, which is a big plus against the background of the exaggerated difficulty level of the third part.
If you like the same thing (as we do), feel free to grab the next installment of Metal Slug because it's still a satisfying game full of humor and action.
