Here is my 100% Walkthrough for Metroid: Samus Returns for the Nintendo 3DS. I will be going through this on Hard Mode, and will also try to completely fill up the map, so this won’t be a speed run, and you will see me run back to fill in some square at times.

In this part, the prologue shows the reason for Samus’s mission, and she lands on SR388. One noticeable difference is Samus starts off with 24 Missiles instead of 30, and that each Missile Tank contains 3 Missiles instead of the usual five. I manage to go through the entirety of the first area (known as the Surface), collecting as many expansions as I could on the way as well as defeating the first Alpha Metroid. After gaining access to Area 1, I save.
