Here is my 100% Walkthrough for Metroid: Samus Returns for the Nintendo 3DS. I will be going through this on Hard Mode, and will also try to completely fill up the map, so this won’t be a speed run, and you will see me run back to fill in some square at times.

In this part, I will show how to get all the remaining expansions, including some I missed my first time through an area. Since you are required to use the Metroid Hatchling to obtain some expansions, it is best to save cleaning up every area until you obtain it. Due to the length of this video, I will break down the Items acquired by area. After collecting everything, I head back to the final Save Station.

I do have some dumb moments in Areas 3 and 5 were I take a bit to figure out which expansion I am missing, and I was unlucky in Area 6 to have no Power Bombs for the Power Bomb Tank in that area.

Unfortunately, some footage was lost at 1:14:54, but it luckily it only lasted four seconds, especially since it was after I collected the final expansion.
