Here is my 100% Walkthrough for Metroid: Samus Returns for the Nintendo 3DS. I will be going through this on Hard Mode, and will also try to completely fill up the map, so this won’t be a speed run, and you will see me run back to fill in some square at times.

I go through Area 6, which is a pretty small area with only two Metroids. However, one of them ends up being an Omega, which can take quite a beating before finally going down. After defeating it, you are finally able to take on the Diggernaut, which yields the Chozo Item it stole, the Power Bomb.

With the final main weapon in Samus’s arsenal, you are now able to perform the Power Bomb Cannon, a new technique that allows Samus to propel at high speeds in the direction she is facing. In order to perform it, the Spider Ball needs to be activated, then you lay down a Power Bomb.

After trying out the new technique, I head into Area 7 and save.
