It was around this point that Bubsy 3D started getting to me. In retrospect, I think it's weird that when most people discuss this game, they only show off like the first level or two and go into melodramatic hysterics about how the game is an abomination. No, THIS -- this right here -- is where the game begins to claw away at whatever sanity you may have once had. This is the point where the game decides to create its magnum opus of level design, but due to the incoherence of the base gameplay mechanics, you're left with something far, far worse. Earlier on in this series, one viewer compared a level to Tick Tock Clock from Super Mario 64 -- a level that nearly broke the game. The final level of Bubsy don't simply break the game itself: they break the very concept of attempting to build a 3D platformer given the tools available to the developer at the time of this release.
I think the worst moment of this playthrough was when I realized that the final stage had two bosses, in addition to essentially being a bullet-hell suffering from some of the most sluggish controls in video game history.
