I decided to attempt to break my limits aaaaand so far I'm not doing too well. The footage here is actually from stream (January 27th, 2014 11PM - 1AM GMT +2), which is why there's a music player and the quality is a bit worse than my usual game uploads.

This is the playing field:
Revengeance difficulty
No Damage
High-Frequency Wooden Sword (maxed out in my case)
Custom Cyborg Body (Blue)

As you can see, I try deal with severe damage handicaps here, putting an extremely heavy focus on consistency throughout the fight. I limit myself from using Thunder Strike or Falling Lightning often because they kinda bypass the Wooden Sword's damage output and what fun is that. :P

Having tried this for a good three hours straight, I did end up learning something new for this fight.

Monsoon's RP phase can be made easier, but only if Monsoon does the forward leap at you at least once. This works by DefO'ing the leap and then ninja running forward a couple of steps. Here Monsoon will either do two things:

A) Attempt to combo you from the side or behind. With the brief ninja running, this will always miss and Monsoon will then proceed to adjust himself for another forward leap.
B) Do another forward leap.

It's a relatively simple loophole, but gets a whole lot riskier under 40 %. Monsoon starts appearing a lot faster, leaving significantly less room for reactions. I only got to this part once, so I did not have time nor motivation to experiment in it. That said, it might be a better idea to just react accordingly while standing still.

Also shown is a stimulated thought of dealing with Lorentz Force projectiles, courtesy of Dragenyo.

The current record for me is what you see here, about under 40 %. Monsoon's close-quarter attacks have a tendency to get me every time (especially that forward kick...), but I did figure a way to generally approach him. Simply ninja run away from him and let Monsoon whiff first. Whether or not the kick utilises that ghost range is another story though... In any case, I should have been more cautious with my last approach, Monsoon always begins the running shenanigans after he recomposes.

Oh yeah, and I do briefly use Sai, but only to take out the Lorentz buff. And I only have one EM grenade in the current save state so it's either a quick finish or an even longer fight. ;P
I think with all this stuff a brief usage of Sai is kinda fair.

I'll keep trying this, for I want more bragging rights and that sense of accomplishment. The fight WILL inevitably drag on forever, so it's kinda like Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep LV1 final bosses all over again, except the combat is actually more fun and working in this game.

Thanks for watching!
