I was wondering how large a window to survive Ecliptic Meteor with the FFXIV Jump gesture. While editing, I realised that meteor summoning animation is never constant; they always vary by a few frames between key poses.

I didn't slow the video down, since Youtube already has that feature built in their video player.

Long story short, I paired up some clips and synced them based on certain cues as shown in the video. I did try to sync as precisely as I could, but expect some human errors in that department.

Even shorter story, it does seem to have a fair bit of window to trigger the scripted jump. Slightly more lenient than dodging a roar, I find.

Personally I just do the gesture between after the standing growl and before it lands back on its forelegs. It works when it feels like it. Your mileage may vary.

Jump responsibly, and happy farming.

P/S: I stopped farming Behemoth a week after its introduction, but I have these recorded because PS4's background recording feature made it easy to do so.
