The Minecraft 1.20 pre-release 1 for Minecraft Java edition released today. I will show you all the additions, changes and fixes added to this pre-release! Since this is the first pre-release for minecraft 1.20, there will not be a minecraft 1.20 snapshot 23w19a this week! In this minecraft 1.20 prerelease, you can now dye colored wool, carpets and beds to any other color! There are two new damage types, which are outside_border and generic_kill. If you now die outside of the world border, you will get a new minecraft 1.20 death message: Player left the confines of this world. A very old minecraft bug (MC-180) has been fixed, which was: "When reaching the other side of a nether portal the animation plays forever until stepped out of".
