The Minecraft 1.20 snapshot 23w05a for Minecraft Java edition released today. I will show you all the additions, changes and fixes added to this snapshot! Apparently, this snapshot will actually be for minecraft 1.19.4, since Mojang have decided on more frequent minor updates! If you want to get access to the experimental features, you have to enable the minecraft 1.20 datapack. This datapack adds many new features into your game! This snapshot includes a new damage command with which you can damage entities. Three new entities that can be used to display items, blocks and text when using the summon command. Furthermore, all the paintings have now been added seperately to the creative inventory!

Commands for summoning block display, item display and text display:
/summon minecraft:block_display ~ ~ ~ {block_state:{Name:"minecraft:emerald_block"}}
/summon minecraft:item_display ~ ~ ~ {item:{id:"minecraft:diamond_helmet",Count:1b}}
