As you know, I've been on a bit of a minecraft tutorial spree. I decided to revisit this one as I know a lot of people have been messaging me about it. This is my Minecraft Villager Farm Tutorial.
This will allow you to utilize the basic concepts of villager farming to your benefit (in by extension, how to spawn golems that you can kill for free iron). While villager trading is a great extension to minecraft, it has a few balancing issues and with that, comes the reason why you should watch this minecraft villager breeding tutorial.

Did you know that in minecraft and in the eyes of the villagers, doors are what define what a "house" is in the game? There are a few criteria on how to create a NPC villager house and in this tutorial, I'll go over the basics as well as show you an easy and exciting way to farm them.
Keep note that with this type of farming, you should be careful on Servers as these villagers can get rather laggy. Minecraft Villager farming will pretty much allow you to purchase/sell anything within minecraft with ease.
When creating villager houses for your villager farm, you do not need to necessarily worry about lighting. I place lighting in and around my houses to deter monsters, which is a strong possibility.
To Transport villagers, you'll need to put them in a minecart and push them along a rail system. The reason for this is that after they walk out of range (15 blocks) from their house (a door, specifically), they'll push back and try to make their way back. On a minecart, NPC villagers just sit there until you take them to their new location. To stop this range affect, you can destroy all the doors in a village in order to stop a villager from pushing back.
Alternatively, you can find zombies which sometimes spawn as zombie villagers. You can cure them of their zombie-ism which would turn them back into regular villagers. All of this and more is covered in the video tutorial.
