Mining with TrackIR - Part 1
2I just got a TrackIR head tracking system in today. I set it up with the default mapping and went mining. It didn't help as much as I thought it would but that's mainly due to the small windows in the cockpit of the Cutter.
I tried not to move my head around too much because I thought it might make me (and anyone who watches the video) nauseous. It turns out that I did get a bit sick to my stomach by the end of my mining session. I'll have to play around with the settings to see if I can reduce that.
All my mining techniques have been pulled from other videos, so nothing really new here. If you are fairly new to "double painite mining", you might pick up some tips from watching. I stopped the video once it was clear how I was proceeding. I started part 2 as I filled my hold and refinery and headed back to sell the painite.
Total time spent was 2h35m for a profit of 495,319,500 which is around 198mil per hour. I usually make just over 500mil for a 2.5 hour session but this station had a slightly lower buying price than the others I have sold at.
