The new stepper motor drivers run hotter than the originals and I couldn't find a solution online that I was happy with. I'd really like to move to an all in one setup but even those don't seem to have many options for additional cooling.
I finally decided to drill a hole in the top of the metal case and mount an 80mm Noctua 12v fan powered by a buck converter to knock the printers 24v down to 12v.
This required moving the MKS Gen L board from its mount in the top of the case to being mounted on top of the power supply. I also lengthened several of the wires that plug into the board power taps.
