Elite Dangerous: PVE combat with TrackIR
4I recorded a visit to a Resource Extraction site. I thought I had dropped into a Hazardous Res, but it was only a High, that's why there are system security ships.
I noticed my frame rate was getting worse the longer I played, and I eventually turned the FPS counter on. I'm not sure if the combination of the game, head tracking software and OBS was causing the poor frame rate or if it's a problem with Elite. I've noticed stuttering since the 'September Update' and usually don't have that problem.
I consider myself just an average pilot. I tried not to move my head too much while making the video, so I was fumbling around and hitting some of the wrong buttons while playing, mainly the pip management. I'm also considering turning off the 'flight assist on' and 'flight assist off' speech, as it can get a bit annoying when you switch between them several times in a short time frame.
