MiSTer FPGA - Super Mario Bros. / NES (Famicom)
Had to come back to this one after my disappointing video previously, where I got stuck in the 7-4 castle and forgot the way through the maze section. This run is my new personal best, with only one death through an entire warpless run. A no miss run is within reach, but it's just not something I can devote more time to right now. This one will have to do until I get the itch to return to the original again.
Next up I'm going to focus on some platformers on other systems and also Super Mario 2/3 and perhaps a Lost Levels video also. All of these games stood the test of time and are immensely enjoyable even to this day, and deserve videos of their own. Mario 3 in particular is probably the finest 8 bit game ever made. Such a triumphant evolution of the series that blew everyone away at the time. Videos will be slower for a bit as I work with some more experimental cores to see what results I can get for a video. Stay tuned!

None of this would be possible without the constant hard work of Sorgelig. It cannot be overstated how much he has done and continues to do for this project, since its beginning. You can support him either at his Patreon in the link below, or on Paypal, depending on your preference. MiSTer is a paradigm shift in how we can experience these classic games. This is a long-term preservation project that will continue to grow so that gamers today and in the future can experience these excellent systems as accurately and lag-free as possible. Donating what you can will help keep the updates coming. Thank you.
