Like the Original Xbox that I discussed last week, the Wii will always be one of the GOATS in the modded console scene. While the WiiU is a clear upgrade, the added cost and difficulty to obtain a WiiU tends to turn most people back to the Wii.

Particularly for those seeking a way to enjoy the GameCube library, a few Wii fan games, and an occasional retro game, the Wii still deserves a place in many gamer's libraries.
