MONEY HEIST (La Casa de Papel) Season 6 News: Alex Pina Hints Spin-Off as Netflix Hit Show Ended
So, this is it, guys. The end of an era. As the final five episodes of the fifth season of Money Heist hit Netflix on December 3, it’s time to say good-bye to this great show as Netflix has officially confirmed NO Season 6 for Money Heist. The decision to end the series was made by Netflix way before Season 5 went to production, and had nothing to do with Money Heist viewership numbers, because at that time the series was at its peak of popularity. After four seasons, Money Heist was Netflix’s #2 original series after Brigderton and the most-watched non-English series ever. The creator, Alex Pina, felt it was the time to wrap up the story, to end on a high note. Since many characters are very charismatic, he said there is a possibility of spin-off shows. Volume 2 of Season 5 began in the aftermath of Tokyo’s death, which was even more devastating for fans than for The Professor and the gang. For the final play, The Professor has an Ace up his sleeve and as his gang unzips their body bags to freedom, we realize that the last piece of puzzle is Tamayo who just so desperately wanted to be a hero. So, guys, what did you think of the Money Heist ending? Wasn’t it epic? The best heist story ever told on TV.
