Attempting the "Triple Threat Throwdown" Event that sees me up against Great Jagras, Great Girros & Dodogama. Initially when I saw the game icons for the first 2 monsters they were very familiar (killed them plenty of times to recognize), but the 3rd icon was some what unfamiliar.
It was only when the moment I am face to face with Dodogama that I realised : Hey I only fought him once in the last stream and I remember he spits firey stuff and always has some random bombs spitting move. 💣

Initially it nearly made me turn cold but fortunately in this special arena it didn't do the bomb spitting move. But plenty of volcano vomit around... And the size of Dodogama is twice of Great Jagras and sometimes it will do that WWE Smackdown move on me EVERYTIME I am stuck in a corner! 😆😆

Great Jagras & Great Girros (I still can't believe it bought his tiny friends in game as well) was easy to kill with a Gunlance (it is by the way probably my 3rd attempt to use it to kill 4 legged monsters) and definately NOT the right choice of weapon. So when it was Dodogama's turn I decided to switch it out with my trusty dual blades to get the job done.

I was initially pissed and wanted to kill Dodogama so badly but suddenly saw the opportunity to just trap and tranqualise it. LOL! Call it the rare occurance of "laziness overcoming the need to kill"... hahaha...

Next up, a quick run to kill Diablos (He was in my optional quest list) so it was a natural choice to finish something (since I am lazy to play story mode today). This beast is the very same one which has made an appearance in the Monster Hunter Movie Teaser (starring Milla Jovovich & Tony Jaa).

Of course I am with the gang who just doesn't agree with the guns part. Ha! But I do hope the actual storyline in the movie is much better than a rough explosive scenes we saw in the official trailer.

You can be sure its a win the moment you are able to hack away Diablos Horns and Tail. But boy his dirt digging moves does get to you and it is as bad as Dodogama's smackdown move. Who would have known that a dragon like creature that has the ability to dirt ambush can be so deadly...!
