Really weird driving game where you pilot a car with not only eyes, but arms that can extend/contract (but only one at a time is operable). To move the arm you have a second joystick; press left or right to extend/retract the arm. Continue moving the arm back and it'll pass through to the other side. You use the arm to grab items off the side of the road, and then bring them back to your "body" to eat them! You can then deposit the remnants of the food (apple core, cherry stems, fish bones) into a trash can for extra points! If you drop the remnants off on the road or miss the trash can you don't get the points. You can also grab money bags for extra points and VERY IMPORTANT fuel cans to restore fuel (which costs you a life when you run out). Your car's arm can hit various obstacles like signs, bushes, and maybe trees, and will cause your car to wince in pain (!) and it can't move the arms for a few seconds. The collision detection with the side of the road is VERY unforgiving and just brushing up against the shoulder costs you a life! Watching out for this and trying to grab stuff off the road is quite difficult, especially when the road is really narrow, obstacles are on the street or other cars are on the road (happens a LOT in this game). Later levels really screw with you when there is only room for one lane on the road and cars approach, necessitating a quick move to a small turnoff and then back when it's safe; here you might need to move up to get to the turnoff before the car takes up the road and you can't make the turn. Your express goal on each level is to reach the end of the course, where your house and wife (the human driver's wife, not the car's) await you (pull into the garage to end the level). The unfair collision detection with the shoulder will make you want to tear your hair out or punch something! Weird game, cute idea, but too demanding. Also known as JOYFUL ROAD (and both versions play the same). Entering initials on the high score list does not yet work in MAME.
