I've been playing World of Warcraft since early 2006, so it's been a part of my life for quite a while. I've decided to make an on-and-off Let's Play of the game, doing one zone at a time to experience the lore and the many stories of this huge MMORPG!
Elwynn Forest is the starting zone of the Human race. At first glance, it's a happy, bright, friendly forest filled with animals. Turns out it is! Just that most of the animals wants to kill you. And then there's the Blackrock Orcs invading from the north... And the Kobolds in the mines... And the woods are also filled with bandits... And there are Murlocs in the lakes and rivers... And last, but not least, Gnolls. Gnolls and their king; Hogger! But you're a hero, so it'll all be alright! In Elwynn forest you'll also find the capital of the Human race and also the capital of the Alliance faction: Stormwind City, one of the mightiest cities on Azeroth! This kingdom is ruled by the Wrynn-line, and has so for a long time. The city was rebuilt after being razed by the first Horde in the First War (and parts of it again after Deathwings' attack) and now stands taller than ever!
