Myst Masterpiece Edition Gameplay Part 3 - None of the Guys Trapped in Those Books Look Friendly
Yesterday I wanted to upload a gameplay of Myst and ended up playing Battlezone Combat Commander, out of pure frustration. Today, let's say that frustration led me to act the other way around. The mission proved to be a very tough nut to crack, so I resumed my gameplay of Myst to make progress somewhere, even where my achievements were irrelevant, then here we are. The actual description is in the following paragraphs.
The saved game loaded me inside the Space Ship, so I had to start the exploration with the Submarine from the beginning. I did remember the path I figured out before, but I still needed to go somewhere I could get off the vehicle. I backtracked way more than expected, but I managed to find my way to a chamber with a book (for now I'll call it the "Myst Book") that took me back to Starting Age. Then I brought the Blue Page to the Blue Book and the Red Page to the Red Book. Both character appearing in the Cinematics of each page acted very threateningly, they gave me the creeps on equal doses.
Rotating the Tower to the Giant Cogs showed me the solution for the puzzle in the Clock Tower. Too bad I solved the puzzle by accident and wasted my chance to make more progress because of my own curiosity to know what the lever behind did. But rest assured, I'll not screw it up again when I resume the gameplay.
See you in the next video!
