BZCC Total Command Mod Gameplay - Mission DW15: The Best Laid Plans...
The Chinese, despite losing all their infrastructure and having their forces in total disarray, are not ready to surrender yet. They still have a last surprise in store for the Black Dogs. They hid a High-Speed Transport Rocket in a Launch Pad located in a remote region of Ganymede, with the intention to return to China and bring reinforcements to deal with their American foes. The Transport is ready to launch, but it wasn't equipped with a Cloaking Device, so the Chinese on board need that at least one of their units outside reaches the Launch Pad. On their way there are a bunch of Emperors, Yetis, Nagas, Dragons, Mongooses and Phoenixes, which are Cloakable Units but they can't activate their Cloak or they'll have to wait for the device to cool down before transferring it to the Transport (I assume that's the reason why they didn't just go cloaked to the Launch Pad), and alternatively, Pandas and Oxen are also carrying Cloaking Devices in their cargo. Aware of their enemy's plans, the Black Dogs Command dispatched the Lieutenant with all the Combat Units they could rally to the area and a bunch of Nightingales to resupply them when possible. After shooting down all the enemies heading to the Launch Pad, it will be time to destroy the Transport itself, but it looks hard to assault it with the standing units, especially after fighting against the enemy Tanks. But the Black Dogs are resourceful and they'll come up with something, right?
This mission is quite challenging, as the squad management and combat efficiency are a must. In tha sense, this version is very faithful to the original game's version, but I'll say that this one is a little bit harder because the first four waves arrive in a random order. Also, in two of these waves there is one enemy craft that will approach from a different route and you have to split your forces to chase that one too. However, in the final wave, the enemies are somewhat easier to handle here than in the original version, as the four Yetis aren't hard to deal with if you have enough wingmen left, whereas in the original version came two Mongooses from one direction, two Pandas and an Ox from another and an Emperor from a third one, which are tough to deal with if you are short on ammo.
Will the Black Dogs prevent the Chinese to reach the Launch Pad?
