This puzzle game was very tough to figure out placing and climbing the halfpipes (some are stacked like level 1 or physics like level 2). Nintendo should've included a manual as it's very obscure., and you have to think of placement in half steps.

Don't press select/ - or else you'll kill yourself as rewind is a better means if you get stuck. Don't fall while carrying something or you'll die from it crushing you and fall damage. It also seems there's a power limit and random items let you lift more.

Hope this vid helps as I saw nothing on gamefaqs/youtube. The level select was ahead of its time though you skip 10 going left to right and numbers one at a time by going up and down.

I do recommend staying or downgrading from switch expansion to switch basic as the mario advance games was already on basic minus small additions like voice acting (should've just been ereader on SMB3).

I do see the nintendo ninjas copyright claimed vid but at least it's still up (says Jvickenwood). Just unreal how territorial they can be.
