The Forum of Zonal Coordinators of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has urged Nigerians to explore constructive dialogue in finding solutions to the incessant fuel scarcity and price hike.

Addressing a press conference in Abuja, the chairman of the Forum, Comrade Bilal Kurfi kicked against the calls for protest saying it has never yielded the desired results.

He emphasised the need for engagement with stakeholders as a more reliable means to addressing the issue and finding sustainable solutions.

The Coordinators further debunked insinuations linking NANS to any form of demonstration across the country.

The NANs leadership however indicated plans to dialogue with the federal government and NNPCL to seek a reduction in petrol prices as well as mitigate the effects of inflation on students.
