Maybe don't read this until you've watched all the way through to the end...

Okay, I'll assume that's far enough down so that nobody will see this when they first look at the video and glance at the description.
Holy shit eh? That ending. Wew. Maybe I should have done a "Warning: Feels" at the start of the episode but I kind of want to make everybody be as unprepared for that as I was. I understand that once in the Transistor you can't get out, but I still hoped, you know? Fuck, it's making me so sad just thinking about it.
So, here's this: Jordan says that is a happy ending. He says that now Red gets to spend an eternity with her lover, ditching her mortal form for what looks like it could be a better world inside the Transistor. Mostly, they get to be together forever and that final scene she looked so happy to be with him again.
But I'm not too sure, you know? They both had to die. Yeah, I mean I guess their consciousness was uploaded into the Transistor, but still, it's pretty traumatizing. I bawled during the credits, I bawled after I was done recording, and I shed more than a couple tears the day after. Suicide is such a hard thing to deal with, and this game did an amazing job with everything and I don't even know how to feel. Very emotional. Really though, this game moved me, despite my extreme sassyness during it.
And that's pretty great how attached to the characters we get, I mean Red never says a single world and Sir Speaksalot doesn't get any biography or any information about him whatsoever. We know so little about them but you feel like you know them still.
And what about the dog that chills in the hidden places?!?! Who is going to feed that poor puppy now? Or is it robotic? Who is goes to play fetch?
So, what do you think? Happy ending or sad ending? Was I too emotionally invested too quickly? Were you trapped in a glass box of emotion?
