Need For Speed 2 (PS1) Playthrough - Knockout Redux With The Lotus Esprit V8
10Continuing on with my Knockout Redux playthrough this time around with the Lotus Esprit V8. The Esprit has good handling and a very predictable lift off oversteer during cornering making it very easy to control but it only has average acceleration because for one its the car with the lowest top speed in the game and the other being that the Esprit being a 5 gear car with the 1st and 2nd gear being short makes it have some wheelspin despite its lack of power compared to the others so far making it quite difficult to handle at those gears so you should avoid then during cornering as i found that spinning out can happen easily. Taking in consideration every car in the game the Esprit is by comparison the worst car overall but winning with it on Knockout is pretty normal so its the first car that you might have some trouble sometimes because of some very low speed handling problems and the lowest top speed of all cars only being nimble and easy on mid speed corners. The fact that the CPU in this run was being way more unga-bunga then it normally is didnt help me at all but it was bound to happen in this playthrough the typical NFS2 CPU shenanigans XD.
