Soul Edge (PS1) WR Run - Arcade Mode - Han Myong - WORLD RECORD Speedrun (3'34"63) (Arcade2R)
4This is my World Record run for Soul Edge in the arcade 2round category with Han Myong. In this category the settings used must be exactly as i showed in the beginning of the video. The strategy used follows a similar pattern to my 1round run, you move the opponent and then ring then out or use advancing strings to make it easier to pull off. Since in this category the difficulty must be set to normal, the CPU will eventually get to a point where it will get block happy or button pressing happy and while you can to a extent manipulate the CPU behaviour, its actually more in the winning sense then in the being fast sense so a greater amount of luck is necessary alongside trial and error until you get a good run. Mitsurugi, Hwang and Han Myong takes the most amount of luck of any other character to get a decent time and my time is ok for the few tries it took me. I will be taking a break from Soul Edge speedrunning or records to resume with the other contents of my channel. I will be coming back to it inbetween playthroughs as theres much do be done that regard.

This run was verified on 2023/04/23. Just like my Soul Edge runs, a category especific to Han Myong was created so for now i have the fastest time on 2R for him.
