I live stream 8-bit Nintendo games at least once a week, usually WedNESdays from 10–11 p.m. Eastern, and sometimes play other games on Friday nights (NES, Game Boy, SNES, Wii, etc.) or whenever the mood strikes and I have time.
MINI-REVIEW: This game is amazing! I can see why it's a cult classic, and I don't know why my younger self bounced off it so hard. This time around, I loved it. The controls are smooth, the sprites are beautiful, the controls are tight. I had once thought the grinding to level up or accrue money was too tedious; and it is, but not really that bad. Not like Dragon Warrior. My only other criticism so far is that the hitbox is a bit too generous. I've clearly been missing out, and I want to finish playing it soon.
After Crystalis, I also played through an NES homebrew game called STREEMERZ, which was inspired by Action 52's Streamers and BIONIC COMMANDO. It's excellent, but very difficult. You can also download it for free to try it out for yourself.
