NES Street Fighter 2010 start to finish classic game
Tool-assisted speedrun (TAS)
- aims for fastest completion
NES Street Fighter 2010 played by Nesrocks. It's a TAS meaning it was played on an emulator using tools, such as savestates to undo mistakes and slowdown to allow precise input, to overcome human limitations. The objective of a TAS is to show the game pushed to it's limits, without the constraints of human skills and reflexes.
A unique game to say the least, in Street Fighter 2010(completely unrelated to the fighting game series) the player must go through a series of levels, collecting enough powerups to warp from one to the next. In doing a tool-assisted run of the game, the author must properly plan what enemies to target and what order to target them in in order to progress as quickly as possible. Nesrocks's movie here is very beautiful and a lot of fun to watch even if one is not familiar with the game.
