Networking 101: Introverts Only
64Have you pretended to be on the phone in public to avoid small talk? Do you screen phone calls even from your friends? How about rejoicing when obligatory social events get canceled? We might have something in common! As a 2021 SANS Diversity Cyber Academy graduate and fellow introvert, I am not far removed from the challenge of building a network in a new field and connecting with others to land your first job. We'll talk about ways to leverage our personalities and some practical steps we can take to grow our networks without being completely drained.
About the Speaker
Jessica currently works on a threat intelligence team at Cardinal Health. She is relatively new to the field with a background in finance and risk management. Jessica is passionate about the diversity of experience and the unique, transferable skills career-changers can bring to the table.
