Fantastic AWS Hacks and Where to Find Them
Adoption of the public cloud grows yearly, bringing a set of new challenges for securing data, identities, and infrastructure. In this talk, we'll showcase the most common ways companies get hacked on AWS. Building up on real incidents, we'll discuss setting up guardrails and secure defaults in the cloud to ensure security follows the path of least resistance and misconfigurations in the AWS control plane are prevented or promptly identified. We'll put a strong emphasis on prioritization to focus on what's critical to get right from the start. We'll also include several open-source tools and practical resources that will help practitioners in their cloud security journey.
