For a long time CISOs have reported to the CIO because historically the CIO position was the only technical position with a seat at the table. What’s next after CISO? Some would suggest a different CISO job but we are speaking with someone that took the CISO role excelled at it and earned herself a new seat at the table as a Fortune 500 CIO. How did she do it ? What does she attribute her success to? What practical lessons can we all take from someone that took a fortune 500 CISO position and parlayed that into a fortune 500 CIO position? We’re going to talk about this in more in this episode of Seat at the Table.

Sarah Urbanowicz is Chief Information Officer at AECOM (NYSE:ACM), the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from planning, design and engineering to program and construction management. In this role, Ms. Urbanowicz leads Information Technology (IT) for the enterprise and is responsible for the development and execution of the global IT strategy, including overseeing its infrastructure and operations, information security and compliance, enterprise application portfolio, IT procurement, and digital portfolio management.
