Never Goemon Give You Up - Episode 4: Walk 'Em Sock 'Em Robots

Well, KI did warn me that the stages were going to get bigger from this point on. I'm just glad I managed to play through two of the big ones this time around. Of course, they also misremembered the number of large stages -- seven rather than six... so I guess I've got a shot to wrap this game up next time. But somehow, I've got a gut feeling that this game will end up taking four sessions to wrap up.
Not that I'm actually complaining. KI's attempt to revisit my next game -- the last one of the bunch -- was apparently met with frustration and disillusion. On the plus side, they do still seem to recommend it over the first game in the series. It's just that they seem to be re-thinking their initial ranking of the SNES Goemon games as being "3, 4, 2, 1". [Why the hell won't YouTube let me use greater than symbols?]
On the plus side, I've been deftly avoiding game overs, which means that I haven't really had any money troubles -- which feels weird compared to my experiences with the last game. Being able to buy power-ups at will is pretty great though. Same goes for not having to worry about how taking damage will reduce my overall combat effectiveness. That being said, whoever designed those hoop-based platforming segments was a sadist. What a pain.
