Hare-Brained Team - Episode 3: Sa-Hare-a Desert

Well, while last Thursday's session was a failure, getting my hands on an actual Wi-Fi adapter definitely proved viable this time around. So I guess I'll be pressing on, even as I wait until I can fix up my wiring. Admittedly, it's a little concerning just how inconsistent the upload speeds are over wireless, but that's always been the nature of the beast. Either way, the download speed manages to trump even my old wiring and while the upload speed -- the real star of this show -- is a lot more unstable, it's always higher than anything my only other alternative can muster.
I didn't really mention this last time, but changing back to my current controller definitely improved the game's controls significantly. Previously, I was hovering around the 6.5-7 mark for a final score, but I'd say it's jumped a whole half-point. At this point, it's veering between a 7 and a 7.5. Not exactly amazing, but definitely better than I'd expect from a licensed game produced by a company that would go onto wearing Atari's brand like a skin the first chance they got.
To that end, I made substantial progress this time around... to the point where I'd be shocked if I don't finish the game next time. I'm not sure if that mini-session I did last time affected my progress, but considering how much progress I was able to make in under an hour (coupled with just how far I got this time), I have to wonder if I would've been completely done with the game by now if I'd been able to stream for the entirety of last Thursday. Oh well, it just wasn't in the cards.
Transylvania's hubworld was a lot more straightforward than the previous three. Only one mini-game and a substantially higher amount of 25 gears compared to everywhere else. It almost feels like this section might've been rushed to some extent. That or the developers were really proud of the brain switcher mechanic and decided to go all-in with it. To compensate for just how little of the game I've got left, I'm going to try to showcase both endings next time. I've also heard back from the game's requester, who finally told me what the second game is going to be, but you'll just have to wait for next time to find out what it is...
