I'm not gonna lie, I really don't have much to say about tonight's session that wasn't already said in the stream itself. That's not to say that the game isn't going well. Quite the opposite, in fact. For the most part, these little diary entries I leave with my archives go a lot more smoothly when something does go wrong in the stream itself, be the difficulties technically or just based on playing the game itself. While that's a good sign for Chrono Trigger itself, it's pretty bad for anyone who likes to read these little text blurbs.
KI and Dari both think I'll be able to knock this stream out in 9 streams... and they've been saying I've been making good progress with both of my streams so far. I guess the part that bothers me about it is that, when I think about it, the actual story progression of Chrono Trigger is a mystery to me. No one ever really discusses that. Maybe it's because the whole time travel nature of the plot makes things difficult to understand... but I never heard anyone criticize it for that either. Not like its sequel, anyway.
Ended up getting another party member this time... and yeah, Lucca and Marle freaking suck by comparison. Like, Frog should've made that clear, but it's absolutely night and day compared to Robo. I decided to drop Marle first, since Robo's a healer as well, but Lucca's days are clearly numbered too. Not sure if it'll be when I get Frog back or someone else... but it'll still be sad to see Fake Bulma go.
