*NEW* Elgato Studio Video Game Capture Software for Mac - It Took 18 Months & It Still Doesn’t Work
18The Elgato 4K X was released about 18 months ago and it has taken Elgato 18 months to release Mac compatible video capture software to work with their 4K X and even after all that time to get it right, it doesn't work properly.
Given that Elgato have video capture software for Windows for their video capture cards, such as the 4K X and the HD60 X etc. and that capture software, 4K Capture Utility, works a lot better and has more recording options. There is no excuse for their Elgato Studio capture software for Mac to be so lacking and broken.
For the tests in this video I am using an M4 Max MacBook Pro and a Sony PS5 Pro and testing the 4K X with the Elgato Studio capture software & DaVinci Resolve in 4K 120FPS and 4K 60FPS to show the clear issues.
