Nightshade (NES)
91Developed by Beam Software and published by Ultra Games, Nightshade is a really unique game released for the NES in January of 1992.
Nightshade takes a typical Point 'N Click adventure game (like Maniac Mansion) and adds real-time action based fighting elements to make a game unlike anything else I've seen on the consoles before.
Despite being a fan of these type of adventure games I hadn't even heard of this game until recently when I saw The Happy Video Game Nerd (HVGN) reviewing it here on YouTube. I immediately tried to find my own copy and luckily for me it wasn't too hard or expensive a game to find. Needless to say this a great game on the NES that you may have missed and if you're into these kind of games like I am you definitely need to get your hands on this one!
