Nintendo Switch 2 GameCube Controller Options: Better Than OEM?
192The Nintendo Switch 2 has a really cool new trick: the addition of select Nintendo GameCube games playable through the Nintendo Classics line! To go along with this, Nintendo launched an official Nintendo Switch 2 GameCube controller. It looks and feels just like the original, but with modern wireless tech. However, it's not perfect. It lacks certain features, like a minus button, which means you can't do things like activate button remapping in games like Super Mario Sunshine (from Super Mario 3D All-Stars). Let's take a look at some Nintendo Switch 2 GameCube Controller Options and whether or not they are Better Than OEM?

I'm really hoping for a future version updated for the Switch 2 that retains the Joy-Con functionality.

This was one of the very first GameCube-inspired controllers to work with the original Nintendo Switch. While I don't believe it's still available, it featured GameCube-style buttons and reliable wireless technology, making it a great controller in its time.

One of my absolute favorite controllers from Retro Fighters, this gem is compatible with both the original GameCube and the Nintendo Switch (depending on the dongle you use). It offers a more streamlined layout compared to their Duelist controller and added some nice extra options.

This is the ultimate evolution of the Battler GC. This controller is truly wonderful, and I can't recommend it enough!
