A crash landing and a psychological conclusion - and yes, I got to fire the gun once. At Sara. So I guess we'll forget about that.

Nobody Wants to Die was punching above its pay grade, to be sure, and as pretty as a game as it was, I do wish there was more interaction with other characters. And not over the radio. Plus, the final confrontation between James and the Police Chief was a little anti-climactic. A few more connect-the-dot kind of moments would have been nice.

I suppose James' final moments were inevitable, if somewhat cliche for a noir story. Again, it probably sounds like I'm complaining, but it's most likely my unreasonable expectations wanting more out of the story. At the end of the day, Nobody Wants to Die is towards the top of my Best 2024 Gaming Experiences, so I'm being unfairly critical of it.

If you get a chance, pick up the game and give it a roll. It's a good time.
