Part of Shisui House's "Nekomimi" brand of games, Nyan Nyan Parasol is a simple game that deals with Meinyan, a catgirl maid who is tasked to find talismans in special forests that possess great magic. While not essentially a "Nekomimi Memorial" game, NNP's general interface is similar and you get unlockables too (in this game, you unlock something for each forest you clear).

The game mostly plays in a 320x240 resolution with the startup menu's being in 640x480 size. That said, it's visuals are okay (the same as most of the other Nekomimi Memorial titles). They aren't anything special, but like most other Shisui House products, they are colorful and cutesy. The music is decent, though nothing is particularly memorable.

The goal of the game is simple; you have to defeat all the enemies onscreen to advance to the next stage. You fight with a magical parasol that turns enemies into jelly that can be thrusted at enemies. The more enemies that get destroyed by a single jelly shot, the more you "combo", which makes enemies drop higher point enemies. You can also float with your parasol if you press the jump button while in midair. There are a couple of stage elements such as wind currents that let you float towards the top of the screen (if you open your parasol over the wind current by pressing jump in midair) and a block that you can push to access high areas (you can also push it offf of ledges and drop it on enemies). It's a simple game really; I just needed something to upload to pass the time. I've been working major overtime at my job for the past few weeks and was too tired to upload anything recently. Enjoy.
