The final Alcon upload! If you missed the performance on Sonic R TV last night, it's now here!

So from the start, I know that I DEFINITELY had to fit in a Sonic track into my set. I felt both my round 1 entry for Sonic Zone and the Planet Wisp bonus tracks showed the best examples of what I could do, but since WillRock already had Green Hill Zone in his set, that cut off one of the choices. The original mix I did a few months back was actually really solemn, so for convention purposes I ended up having to 'remix the remix' (thank you DJ EAR for coining that term :P) and make it more upbeat and dependent on the Planet Wisp source.

Performance itself - no technical difficulties, thank goodness. I thought arrangement-wise it had the best of what I was going for, but if there was anything I learnt from audience feedback, they generally liked the rapid portmonteau more, which is why I felt that "The Root of All Things" would most likely be a prominent track in future sets. But it's all a good learning process for the future!
