Omi Plays Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars Part 26
Recorded on 9-19-23. Time to take on the final dungeon of the game: Bowser's Keep! With some help from Mallow parents in Nimbus Land,the party is able to take a flying bus to reach the Castle. It's actually incredibly linear at the start,all you can do is fight your way through the various enemies and go straight ahead. New enemies include Terra Cottas,Gu Goombas,Forkies,Malakoopa,and Tub-O-Troopa. Course at this point we're steam rolling almost everything,so they aren't too much of a threat. You'll run into Croco at some point,and he serves as a Shop to buy Items. The next area is a set of 6 doors. The contents of the rooms is randomized each playthrough of this game,so you may not get them in the same order as me. There's 3 room types: Combat,Action,and Puzzle. Combat is just a straight shot fighting a gauntlet of enemies. Action has you do some platforming challenges with 10 chances. Puzzle has you take on various tasks. Door 1 for me was a Combat route,while Door 2 was an Action route. The 2 Action and Combat routes give the final weapons for your party members,for the record.
