I LOVE FFXIV as a new migrant from WoW, but having horrible data center lag issues as an Oceanic player from Australia...

I'd like to share my honest assessment and thoughts on the problem, and talk about what I believe Square Enix should be doing to fix it ASAP, while the wave of newcomers to FFXIV is still fresh and there is a MASSIVE opportunity to be missed on retaining us as fresh refugees and a potential influx of subscription and Endwalker preorder revenue retention.

I'll also tell you what I PERSONALLY am going to do about this unfortunate discovery, moving forward. This might appeal to and inform some of the fellow WoW refugees and the other FFXIV beginner players who are still on the Free Trial of the game...
