Cinderella received it's first release in the Walt Disney Classics lineup (in this timeline) for the Holiday Season of 1989. It was an incomparable success, selling approximately 11 million copies and paving the way for the best single year Walt Disney Home Video had enjoyed to date. Cinderella would notably be the last Disney Classics title to be released with the original Walt Disney Classics logo, as a new prototype logo would be put into works in the year 1990 with the upcoming release in the Spring of Pinocchio.
