You guys may have noticed I'm a bit of an art nerd. I love art books. Certain pieces of art can really resonate with me. One of those pieces was Paul Bonner's painting of the Wolfen fighting the Griffins on the cover of the Confrontation starter set box.
Paul Bonner is a name that is probably familiar to you if you've paid attention to who painted a lot of game covers and artwork ever since the mid to late 90s. Games Workshop. Rackham. Target. FASA. Riot Minds. Cool Mini.
While my personal favorites are his big pieces from Confrontation, I have a soft spot for all the Mutant Chronicles stuff as well. We'd always see the art scattered around local shops but never could actually find the books (although we had Siege of the Citadel and the Doom Trooper card game) so it's nice to have all those evocative pieces all in one place on my bookshelf!
