Legends of Signum: Goro and Shiji, the big & little defenders of the castle!
40These guys took a while to get here, but they finally made it! They were stuck in transit for close to four months due to the postal services locking down, but they got here safe and sound in the end. Not like I don't have more than enough models to deal with...
So I'm still not 100% sure who's who in this scenario. We have a big guy and a little guy- a goblin and an ogre. Both are part of the slowly expanding wave of Japanese- themed models from Legends of Signum, with the intent to eventually have another complete faction.
Not sure when we'll have the whole faction complete, as they've got the Plague Doctors and newest kickstarter sets to complete first, and despite my interest in crazy bug people I'll take the samurai aesthetic first, just about every time.
Parts fit nice and clean. Casting looks good. Lots of fun details all over both models. Was a bit unsure how to position the goblin's hat but I think it's not a huge issue if it doesn't match the photos 100%.
The ogre is a good bit larger than a GW one but there's no reason you couldn't use it as a maneater and paint the sharpshooter on his head up like a gnoblar. I wish I had some Confrontation ogres to see how they compare but those guys have long since been priced out of affordability for me.
Legends of Signum continue to put out stylish resin models with a lot of character. They have some bundles that offer up a bit of savings as well as a kickstarter wrapping up with some pretty unique nature/ forest type models. Give 'em a look!
