Paraphrasing the Zombies, "Please don't bother trying to find him... he's not there!"
What an interesting model. Credit to the modelers on this one, as you can almost see where the body is supposed to be. It's like my brain tries to insert a physical form into the empty shell of the armor.
All the joints and connections are hidden around in nooks and niches of the model. Straps and bonds hold nothing up. The hilt of the swords are already molded onto the cape where the blade attaches (not the scabbard like I state in the video). It's a very interesting design seeing how it all comes together.
Keep in mind even after completion it's going to still be quite a delicate model. I put some glue in key spots to help give parts a bit extra support.
I think they could have probably had it on a smaller base, but the fancy scenery and flowing cape help fill out the area that the model takes up- despite anyone actually existing in the armor.
I got mine out of the Lumineth army boxed set. There's definitely some floating around on Ebay and local stores, where it's probably going to be a better deal than the individual release, so keep your eyes peeled for one if you're interested!
