Outlast 2 DEMO Part 1 - They've Bar-B-Q'd Children
1Considering Outlast 2 has missed it's October 2016 release date, Red Barrels has released a free demo. You play as Blake Langerman a cameraman who covers stories no one wants to cover. After your helicopter crashes (herd not seen) you are stuck wandering around a crazy village, with nothing but your camera. The goal is to locate your wife Lynn, but that's gonna take a backseat to what is really going on. As you continue deeper into the village, you quickly get the sense that someone or something is after you. As you pass through a house you eventually come to a decayed church. Inside the church you find a manger covered in blood, that's never good. That seems tame when you discover the next room is completely littered with the charred remins of small children, meaning the church was used to sacrifice children........WONDERFUL. Things get stranger when you locate a well behind the church, and a massive tongue pulls you in. Now you find yourself crawling around a ventilation system, which is located inside a school. As you venture down the school hallway where several lockers are mysteriously opening by themselves, I hide in a locker. As I emerge from the locker I'm attacked by a unknown creature who throws me down the hallway. One of the lockers hides a secret path leading deeper into the school, but with no idea what's going on I decided it's time to take a break.
