Playing the teaser for the new Kickstarter game "Overload', made by two of the guys who made the original Descent games from the late 90's. Been a LONG time since I played any Descent games, so was a bit out of it trying this, this was 2nd time playing, first time actually playing the Destroy the reactor level, only tried the practice mode once earlier.

Definitely has a much more original Descent feel to it than Descent: Underground, but both games should be great once released.

The other team developing that game, have the license and rights to use Descent in the name, since Interplay approached them and asked them to make it after seeing their original game that was a Descent like clone.

The other team, that actually made the originals however don't have the copyrights or trademark to do so, so they have to change the name and story, but this one is the more true spiritual successor to the originals.

Where as the other one is a Multiplayer inspired take, and single player/campaign will be added later, this one here is starting as a single player campaign, first, then adding Multiplayer later.

So its nice to have that between both teams and both games, similar project, but approaching from different angles.
