-Overwatch 2 is going to be released on October 4th this year and will be free to play. They have not discussed the microtransactions, but we know they're bound to happen due to the implementation of the seasonal battle passes that are coming to the game.
-New Seasons (9 weeks on average)
-No more loot boxes
-New heroes, maps, cosmetics and more each Season
-Charms can now be added as a cosmetic to your weapon in-game
-Mythic skins are now the chase skins for each new season (they'll be the most rare in the game during those times)
-There are 3 new heroes in the works right now (Junker Queen, Sojourn and another new hero that'll be released in the upcoming months during the launch of Overwatch 2)
-Junker Queen has a new origin story and Wasteland animated short available for viewing (I'll link them in the description)
-PvE will release in 2023. It'll focus on old team members joining Overwatch again and how they interact with the newer members. They'll be fighting against the Omnics once again.
-Seasonal story modes will come back and be available for players
-25,000 new voice lines have been added for the characters
-Sounds from each map have been recorded from their real-world locations to make each map as immersive as possible during gameplay
